Dr. Jonathan Henderson | Utica Pediatrics
For Dr. Jonathan Henderson, caring for local children and families also means serving the community where he grew up. A Whitesboro native and board-certified pediatrician, he has practiced at Utica Pediatrics since 2010 and is among Mohawk Valley Living’s 2026 Top Doctors.
His commitment to the community extends beyond the office. Dr. Henderson has served on the boards of Kelberman and the American Heart Association for more than 10 years and was recently elected to a fourth term on the Whitesboro Central School District Board of Education. Those roles reflect his continued involvement in the lives of local children and families.
As he celebrates this recognition, Dr. Henderson wants to recognize the people who share in the practice’s work every day: his partners, Dr. Dawn Bard and Dr. Karen Griffith; nurse practitioners Shannon Kesselring, Rayanne Schoonover, Lindsay McGarry and Caitlyn Durfee; and the entire staff. He credits their dedication and exceptional care as an essential part of serving the community.
Utica Pediatrics provides medical care from birth through age 18, as well as for young adults ages 19–22. The practice is proud to celebrate Dr. Henderson’s recognition and grateful to the families who continue to place their trust in its team.
