Here’s what I’m loving for Fall 2026: rich colors, classic patterns, great denim, cozy textures, and a few elevated statement pieces.
Rich Color & Classic Patterns
Dark brown is having a major moment! From chocolate to espresso, it’s sophisticated, versatile, and incredibly simple to wear. If you have a cooler complexion, try espresso; warmer skin tones can lean into chocolate.
My favorite way to incorporate this trend? Accessories. A dark brown handbag, boot, belt, or flat can transform an outfit without a closet overhaul. Pair your brown pieces with cream, butter yellow, soft pink, blues, or greens.
And don’t forget burgundy. A burgundy bag or pair of flats is such an easy way to add the perfect splash of fall color.
For patterns, plaid and stripes are leading the way. Layer plaid under a sweater, let it peek out from a jacket, or add it with a cozy scarf. Stripes are a forever classic: easy, flattering, and wearable all year long.
The Power of Good Denim
I will always believe in the power of great denim. Forget about chasing one “perfect” silhouette and wear what makes you feel amazing. Bootcut, baggy, barrel-leg, or wide-leg, you have options!
Dark denim is especially chic this fall. I also love denim jackets, overalls, and the classic denim dress styled with a tall boot. It’s effortless and polished.
Suede Season
If there’s one texture that instantly makes an outfit feel luxe, it’s suede. A fabulous suede boot, handbag, or shoe adds warmth and texture without trying too hard.
One of my favorite combinations is a suede jacket paired with dark denim. It always works and always looks so good!
A friendly reminder: protect those beautiful suede pieces with a water-protectant spray. You can easily find one online or at your local big-box store.
A Little More Sparkle: Desert Diamonds
I went straight to the experts when researching Fall jewelry trends, and what I found is the perfect detail for any outfit.
