During the 2026 State of the County Address at Turning Stone Resort Casino, Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. unveiled “250 Forward,” a forward-looking vision focused on continued growth, investment, and opportunity across Oneida County as the nation approaches America’s 250th anniversary.
The plan includes a proposed $10 million housing investment fund, expanded youth mental health initiatives, support for veterans services, workforce development efforts, and continued investment in regional economic development projects. Picente also highlighted the county’s recent momentum and emphasized the importance of long-term planning to help strengthen communities throughout the Mohawk Valley.
Under Picente’s leadership, Oneida County has continued to position itself as a regional leader in economic growth, infrastructure investment, and community development, with “250 Forward” serving as the next chapter in that ongoing vision for the future.
