Fenimore Art Museum: The Linda McCartney Retrospective: From the Light

A rare look at the life and work of Linda McCartney, whose camera captured music legends, family moments, nature, activism, and the spirit of an era. The exhibition features portraits of artists including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Aretha Franklin and more, while revealing McCartney’s lasting legacy as a photographer and storyteller.
Munson Museum of Art: Watercolor Stories: Art of Charles E. Burchfield

Munson’s featured summer exhibition explores the artistic relationship between celebrated American painter Charles E. Burchfield and Munson benefactor Edward Wales Root. Featuring 24 expressive watercolors from Munson’s collection, along with related artwork and archival materials, the exhibition offers a vivid look at nature, music, memory, and the creative exchange between artist and collector.
